In order to assess and certify the QMS of its clients, in 2016 C&P decided to obtain the accreditation according to ISO 17021:2011 for sectors IAF 17 “Basic metals and fabricated metal products” and IAF 18 “Machinery and Equipment”.

In 2019 C&P extended its accreditation to IAF 28 “Construction” and IAF 34 ” Engineering services” sectors, then in 2020 also obtained the certification for IAF 29 “Wholesale and retail trade; Repair of motor vehicles motorcycles and personal and household goods” and IAF 35 “Other services”.

In a context marked by a wider choice, it is believed that a valuable service of QMS assessment and certification must be characterized by:

– clear and effective communication processes between the OfC and the client whose QMS is to be assessed and certified in each service supply’s process.

– a great attention to the client’s needs.

– impartiality in supplying services and traceability of requirements.

– competence of the auditors performing the activity.

In order to guarantee the necessary expertise, C&P’s selected auditors shall:

be qualified as QMS auditor/lead auditors by Organizations nationally/internationally recognized (IRCA, CEPAS, SICEV, KHC, or equivalent)
having an appropriate technical expertise for EA IAF Sectors for which C&P obtained the accreditation.

QMS certification service is divided into different steps:

initial certification audit, that is split into Stage 1 and Stage 2 (the whole QMS certification has 36-month validity).
periodic surveillance audit to be performed at least on 12-month basis.

Before the expiry date, the renewal certification audit shall be performed.

Additional services offered:

Preliminary audit may be performed in order to evaluate the initial status of the organization.
